The 40-time world champion Bjørn Dunkerbeck will be presenting his first E11 Bjørn Dunkerbeck sunglass collection during the season's highlight, the Windsurf Worldcup on Sylt from 24 September to 3 October 2011.

E11, Dunkerbeck's start number for many years, now enjoys trademark status in the scene and focuses on outdoor activities with an emphasis on water sports. The eyewear collection will extend the range from the autumn.

Bjørn Dunkerbeck has developed the individual models together with experts from the German sports and sunglass specialists at Nigura Metzler, Düsseldorf.

"I have yet to find an ideal pair of sports glasses. Nigura has given me the opportunity to develop exactly those products which are directed specifically to my activities," is how Dunkerbeck explains his motivation. "Bjørn is a truly exceptional athlete and there is probably no one better suited to give us the assistance of their sports experience in our development of eyewear models," says Dominik Müser, managing director of the eyewear manufacturer.

The collection will be available only from authorised dealers from September 2011.
