Nigura Metzler and Aston Martin sign a licence agreement

The British luxury car maker Aston Martin, which is world-renowned for its design excellence, and the Düsseldorf optical company Nigura Metzler have concluded a worldwide licence agreement.

The licence agreement was signed at the headquarters of ASTON MARTIN, attended by CEO Aston Martin, Norman Mcdonald; Managing Director of Aston Martin Brands, and Dominik Müser; Managing Director of Nigura Metzler. The contract covers both prescription frames and sunglasses. The collection premiere is planned for June 2011.

Norman Mcdonald, the Licensing Director at Aston Martin brands, was excited at the opportunities this new license will create. "Like Aston Martin, Nigura Metzler is a company with a long tradition, and, like Aston Martin, it stands for exceptional technical and design excellence. The eyewear and sunglass collection which will be created in collaboration between both companies is inspired by the world of Aston Martin which will present a unique design signature."


The Aston Martin Collection will be developed as an exclusive line and be made available through selected trade partners.
